President, PaperClip Communications
Andy McLaughlin is the founder, president and CEO of PaperClip Communications Inc., a company that specializes in providing information resources to the education market. Founded in 1993, PaperClip Communications has two divisions, one that works with higher education and one that works with K-12. Annually, PaperClip Communications works with more than 6000 colleges, universities, school systems and schools districts providing critical information resources to support education and learning initiatives through health, wellness, safety and security. As president and CEO of PaperClip Communications Andy has been a frequent presenter on university campuses across North America.
Before founding PaperClip Communications, Andy was the vice president of marketing and training with a major regional restaurant chain in the Philadelphia area – while with this restaurant company Andy worked with a strong entrepreneurial team to achieve rapid growth with high returns.
Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Glassboro State College and a master’s degree in public relations from Rowan University of New Jersey. He co-chairs SIPA’s Small Publishers Special Interest Group and is a member of SIPA’s and SIPF’s board of directors.
He serves as the chairperson of SIPA’s international workgroup and in this role serves as a Director of SIPA in the United Kingdom and has served as the chairperson for the SIPA Munich conference. He currently serves as Secretary of the SIPA board of Directors. Andy is a member of the Specialized Information Publishers Foundation Hall of Fame.
